Cleveland forward covets another big game
Fresh off a 40-point barrage against Portland, will Kevin Love serve up another offensive feast on the day after Thanksgiving?
Love and the Cavaliers host Dallas tonight, with a 7:30 p.m. ET tip at Quicken Loans Arena. Online sports book Bovada.lv gives Cleveland odds of -2200 to emerge victorious. Rick Carlisle’s club, on the other hand, represents a +1000 underdog.
Bet on This Evening’s NBA Action
On Wednesday, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving gladly ceded the spotlight to the man donning No. 0 for the wine and gold. Love converted 12 of his 20 attempts from the field, shredding the Trail Blazers’ defense in every way imaginable. He should also be able to take advantage of an injury-decimated Dallas team, whose 2-12 record ranks last in the Western Conference.
Most recently, the Mavs dropped a 124-104 decision to the Clippers. Harrison Barnes had 22 points and four rebounds, continuing a solid stretch of play. Unfortunately, the small forward’s not receiving nearly enough help. Dirk Nowitzki is pushing through his Achilles discomfort, but the 13-time All-Star’s a shell of his former self. Deron Williams, of course, can’t even get on the floor due to a calf ailment.

On the heels of a momentous win, the Cavs (11-2) clearly have designs on blowing out their undermanned guests. We definitely predict a double-digit rout, particularly given Cleveland’s penchant for dominating at home. Better luck next year, Big D.
