Los Angeles Lakers DFS Notes
There is “growing optimism” that LeBron James (abdominal strain) could return to action on Friday in Boston, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. There was a report in The Athletic last week that indicated James could be sidelined for up to a month, but coach Frank Vogel said over the weekend that LeBron was “day-to-day,” and ESPN’s Dave McMenamin noted James was “progressing well” would likely return soon. Now we have the encouraging news from Wojnarowski that LeBron may suit up later this week. L.A. begins a five-game road trip in Milwaukee on Wednesday before traveling to Boston on Friday and Detroit on Sunday.
Milwaukee Bucks DFS Notes
Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) produced 26 points, five rebounds, six assists, one 3-pointer, one steal, one block and three turnovers across 34 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Hawks. Antetokounmpo got hit with a rest day on Friday for a minor ankle issue, but he was back in action today and seemed to be moving around fine while he was out there, so we’re not worried about that ankle. He was held to a season-low 15 points on 5-of-15 shooting his last time out, but he nearly matched that total by halftime and finished the game on 9-of-21 shooting from the field and 7-of-12 at the stripe. He should be fine for Wednesday’s game vs. the Lakers, but managers will want to be on the lookout for a potential rest day on their Friday-Saturday, back-to-back vs. OKC and Orlando.
