Knicks stomped by Cavs
New York lost by a score of 108-87 Sunday night at home against Cleveland to fall to 2-8 overall and 1-3 at home. The Knicks trailed 54-36 at halftime en route to the lopsided defeat. Julius Randle paced New York with 20 points on 6-of-14 shooting including 1-of-2 from 3-point range plus 7-of-10 at the free throw line. He also ripped down 16 rebounds. Allonzo Trier registered 13 points and two assists off the bench. Damyean Dotson added 10 points in 21 minutes of action as a reserve.
Bulls unable to hang with Rockets
Chicago lost 117-94 at home Saturday night versus Houston to drop to 3-7 overall and 1-3 at home. The Bulls led 27-20 after one quarter of play and still led by one at halftime, but were outscored 36-18 in the third quarter and could not recover. Lauri Markkanen paced a balanced Chicago scoring effort with 13 points on 3-of-10 shooting plus 7-of-7 at the free throw line. He also recorded six rebounds and two steals. NBA Betting Trends
The Knicks are 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games. New York is 4-10 ATS in its last 14 games versus the Central Division.
The Bulls are 5-12 ATS in their last 17 games overall. Chicago is 2-8 ATS in its last 10 games versus the Eastern Conference.
Do you really want to give six points with the Bulls? I'd rather take my chances with New York keeping this one competitive. The Knicks were blasted at home the other night, but prior to that they beat the Mavs straight up and have had a few impressive performances this season. I'm going to bank on them having another good showing against a team that hasn't had much more success than them.
