Kings vs. Knicks Pick
Can the Sacramento Kings stay within the number as underdogs Saturday night at 8PM ET versus the host New York Knicks?
Oddsmakers at sports book Bovada.lv have made the Knicks a 6-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is 202 points.
Sacramento comes in with a 3-8 record, winning its second straight game with a 109-108 home victory over the 76ers. New York is 6-5 following a 112-99 loss at the Magic. The Knicks won both meetings last season straight up and ATS. The under went 2-0.
The Kings were led by De’Aaron Fox as his jumper with 13.4 seconds left was the game-winning basket versus the Sixers. Zach Randolph had a team-high 20 points and seven rebounds. Justin Jackson scored 19 off the bench, while Willie Cauley-Stein contributed 15 points and four rebounds. Fox added 11 points, seven assists and four steals off the bench.
New York was paced by Tim Hardaway Jr. with 26 points and 11 rebounds in the loss at Orlando. Doug McDermott scored 13 off the bench. Courtney Lee added 12 points and four steals. The Knicks were outscored 58-49 in the second half.
Sacramento is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings at New York. The under is 5-2 in the last seven meetings in New York.
The Kings have finally been able to get some consistent play from their veterans, while the younger talent on the squad such as Cauley-Stein and Fox have stepped up in the last couple games. But with Kristaps Porzingis expected to return to the New York lineup tonight, we have to go with the hosts to cover. This still is not a good Sacramento team we’re talking about.
