Los Angeles Lakers DFS Notes
LeBron James hit 6-of-13 shots, three 3-pointers and 3-of-6 free throws for 18 points, seven rebounds, 10 assists and three steals in 36 minutes of Sunday’s Game 1 99-90 loss to the Suns. Anthony Davis struggled, hitting 5-of-16 shots for 13 points, seven rebounds and three blocks, while Andre Drummond, Dennis Schroder, Montrezl Harrell and Alex Caruso all scored in double figures for the losing Lakers. They’ll try to right the ship in Game 2 on Tuesday night in Phoenix. LeBron may have injured his left shoulder after being boxed out by Chris Paul, but it would be shocking if it were something that would keep him out of Game 2.
Phoenix Suns DFS Notes
Deandre Ayton hit 10-of-11 shots for 21 points, 16 rebounds (8 offensive) and a block in 37 minutes of Sunday’s 99-90 win over the Lakers in Game 1. He was the best big man on the floor today and it wasn’t even close. He’s been a bit of a disappointment in fantasy but looked like a different player in his first playoff game today. And he became the first Suns player to go for 20 & 10 in their playoff debut since Connie Hawkins did it back in 1970. There are reports that Ayton may have left the bench during a skirmish involving Cam Payne, Alex Caruso and Montrezl Harrell, so Suns fans will need to hope that Ayton’s not suspended for Game 2 on Tuesday.
