Dallas Mavericks DFS Notes
Luka Doncic scored 35 points on 12-of-19 shooting (6-of-11 3-pointers) to go with 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two turnovers as the Mavericks blew the Suns out in Game 7 on Sunday night. This was just a good old-fashioned whooping by the Mavericks, and they got whatever they wanted on offense all night long. Doncic had 27 points at the half to match the Suns’ team total and the Mavericks took a 30-point lead into the break. He became the first player in the last 25 postseasons to equal or exceed the opposing team’s point total in a half. He also is the second-youngest player in postseason history with 35 points and 10 rebounds in a game 7. The Mavericks will now take on the Golden State Warriors for the right to represent the Western Conference in the NBA Finals.
Golden State Warriors DFS Notes
Stephen Curry scored 29 points on 10-of-27 shooting from the floor (6-of-17 3-pointers) and added seven rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and one steal as the Warriors closed out the Grizzlies in Game 6 on Friday night. Curry got hot late and hit some big shots down the stretch to help the Warriors pull away from the Grizzlies, who put up a great fight all night. Draymond Green nearly recorded a triple-double, putting up 14 points with fifteen rebounds, eight assists, and one steal in 39 minutes. He shot 6-of-14 from the floor and was 2-of-3 from the foul line while going 0-of-3 from the three-point line. The Warriors will await the winner of the Mavericks and Suns Game 7 on Saturday to see their opponent in the Western Conference Finals.
