Miami Heat DFS Notes
Jimmy Butler shot 9-of-15 from the field and 3-of-4 from the foul line in Tuesday’s win over the 76ers, scoring 23 points with nine rebounds, six assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 35 minutes. Butler didn’t go off as he did in the two games played in Philadelphia (73 points total), but he didn’t have to as others stepped up for the victorious Heat. All five starters finished the game in double figures, with reserves Victor Oladipo (13/3/3/2 with one 3-pointer) and Tyler Herro (10/2/3) joining the party off the bench. While Philadelphia has managed to keep some of Miami’s other key contributors in check during this series that has not been the case with Butler, who’s a safe DFS play as a result. He’ll look to put forth another virtuoso performance on Thursday, as the Heat look to close out this series.
Philadelphia 76ers DFS Notes
Joel Embiid (facial fracture/right thumb sprain) is being deemed questionable to play in Game 6 against the Heat on Thursday. In addition to the face and the thumb, Embiid tweaked his back early on in Game 5, but he seems to have responded well and that’s the least of his worries. We fully expect him to play in a must-win game tomorrow, and just know that as long as his team is alive, he’ll be listed as iffy to play. Rounding out Philly’s side of the injury report are Matisse Thybulle (left foot soreness) and Isaiah Joe (right ankle sprain), who are also questionable to play.
