Memphis Grizzlies DFS Notes
Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins said on Sunday that there’s a “really good chance” that Ja Morant (right knee) will miss Monday’s game against the Warriors. It goes without saying that this is a huge development in the series, as the Grizzlies trail by a 2-1 margin going into Game 4. There’s still debate as to whether or not Warriors’ guard Jordan Poole was the cause of Morant’s knee injury, and the league office has yet to decide anything in that regard. If Morant is unable to play on Monday that would thrust Tyus Jones into the spotlight. He performed well when filling in for Morant during the regular season, and would be a very popular DFS option for Monday’s slate.
Golden State Warriors DFS Notes
Klay Thompson finally bounced back in a 142-112 Game 3 win over the Grizzlies on Saturday, hitting 8-of-13 shots for 21 points, also adding nine rebounds, four assists, four triples and three turnovers in 35 minutes. Klay didn’t look like himself in the first two games of this series, shooting just 11-of-38 from the field, but he looked much more comfortable tonight and was one of the many reasons the Warriors shot an absurd 63.1% from the floor. It was only a matter of time before he turned it around, and it’s no coincidence that the night Klay had it going was the same night that the Warriors just completely dominated the game, especially on offense. We’ll see how Klay responds to tonight’s nice performance in Game 4, which will take place on Monday night. Fellow Splash Brother Stephen Curry was great as well, hitting half of his shots and all 14 of his free throws for 30 points, two boards, six dimes, one steal, two 3-pointers and one turnover in 35 minutes.
