Milwaukee Bucks DFS Notes
Giannis Antetokounmpo hit 11-of-20 shots and 11-of-18 free throws for 33 points, 18 rebounds, nine assists, one steal and two blocks in 40 minutes of Wednesday’s 114-110 home loss to the Bulls. The series is tied at 1-1 and heads to Chicago for Games 3 & 4 this weekend. Giannis’ missed free throws took their toll as the Bucks overcame an 18-point deficit to cut it to three points late in the third quarter. But the Bulls went on a 9-0 run to start the fourth quarter and were able to hang on the rest of the way. The Bucks lost Khris Middleton (sore left knee) and Bobby Portis (right eye abrasion) in this one and that also impacted the outcome of the game. No one was giving the Bulls a chance in this one but they stole one in Milwaukee tonight and the Bucks will have to regroup with Games 3 & 4 in Chicago.
Chicago Bulls DFS Notes
DeMar DeRozan hit 16-of-31 shots and 9-of-9 free throws on his way to a playoff career-high 41 points, seven rebounds, four assists, a steal and two blocks as the Bulls stunned the Bucks in Milwaukee Wednesday 114-110 to tie their series at 1-1. DeRozan put the icing on the cake in this one with an incredible driving layup against Giannis Antetokounmpo in the closing minute for two of the game’s final three points and an unlikely road win for the Bulls. The Bucks had won 11 of their last 12 home playoff games and DeRozan got plenty of help from Nikola Vucevic (24 & 13), Zach LaVine (20 points) and Alex Caruso (9 points, 10 assists and a bunch of other stuff). The series will shift to Chicago for Games 3 & 4 and the Bulls suddenly look like they have life in a series most people didn’t give them a chance in. They blew an 18-point lead but never fell behind and were able to hang on for the tough win.
