Charlotte Hornets DFS Notes
LaMelo Ball played 29 minutes in Sunday’s 124-108 win over the Wizards, tallying 24 points (8-of-16 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 10 rebounds, nine assists, and one steal, and six 3-pointers. Ball shot well on Sunday, as he made six of his seven 3-point attempts, but there were some ball-control issues. While he did finish one assist shy of a triple-double, the second-year point guard was also responsible for eight of the Hornets’ 17 turnovers. With Charlotte locked into the 10-seed they’ll visit Atlanta on Wednesday in the play-in tournament, and Ball can ill-afford to rack up that many turnovers if the Hornets are to have a shot at advancing.
Atlanta Hawks DFS Notes
Trae Young had a 28-point, 11-assists double-double over 34 minutes on Sunday, adding five rebounds, four triples and five turnovers in a 130-114 win over Houston. Young will end his 2021-22 campaign as the No. 1 dime dropper with 738 total assists on the year, and as long as DeMar DeRozan doesn’t score 38 points tonight, he’ll finish with the most total points (2,155) as well. Clint Capela notched his 34th double-double of the season in the win with 18 points (7-of-10 FG, 4-of-4 FT), 13 rebounds, one steal and two blocks over 23 minutes and he’ll end the year as the No. 3 rebounder with 875 total boards on the season.
