Los Angeles Clippers DFS Notes
Nicolas Batum scored 17 points on 5-of-9 shooting (3-of-3 FT) Thursday, to go with five rebounds, two assists, four triples, two steals, three blocks and zero turnovers across 38 minutes in an overtime loss to the Bulls. This was the most points Batum has scored since March, and just his third time reaching double digits in the points department over that 11-game stretch. However, while not a consistent scorer, Batum has been providing late-round value over that stretch with the triples (1.9), dimes (2.0), steals (1.3), blocks (0.8) and limited turnovers (0.8), so he’s worth a look in deep leagues.
Milwaukee Bucks DFS Notes
Giannis Antetokounmpo moved past Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to secure the No. 1 spot on Milwaukee’s all-time scoring list during Thursday’s 120-119 win over the Nets with 44 points on 14-of-21 shooting from the field and 15-of-19 at the line. The Greek Freak could not be stopped tonight, and he added 14 rebounds, six assists, one 3-pointer, one steal and an unfortunate eight turnovers across 39 minutes in the impressive, one-point win. “How many points 14,000-something?” said Giannis when asked about becoming Milwaukee’s all-time leading scorer. “Ohhh! I’m a bucket! I’m a bucket! It’s fun, you know?” It’s 14,216 to be precise, and many more to go for this 27-year-old superstar.
