Nuggets vs. 76ers Pick
735 Denver Nuggets at 736 Philadelphia 76ers, 7PM ET
According to oddsmakers at YouWager, the 76ers are listed as a 5.5-point favorite on the spread line. The total is set at 223.5 points.
Philadelphia opened as a 5-point favorite, while the total has come up from 220 points. The Sixers are a 5.5-point favorite at almost every book, but can be bet at -5. The total is at 223.5 at nearly every sportsbook, but I've also found it at 224.
As of Monday afternoon, 63 percent of public bets are coming in on Philadelphia. Online wager info also states that 66 percent of bets are siding with the over.
INJURY TO WATCH
Denver shooting guard Gary Harris (knee) is out today, while power forward Tyler Lydon (knee) is out indefinitely. For the 76ers, shooting guard Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (knee) and point guard Markelle Fultz (shoulder) are out indefinitely.
While the Sixers are safely into the playoffs after a 120-108 home win over the Timberwolves, Denver is still fighting for its playoff lives as it is 1.5 games out of the eighth spot with nine games to play. Needless to say, there are a lot of must-win games down the stretch. My feeling is the Nuggets are catching Philly at the right time here as any team after clinching something is prone to having a bad game. Denver is only 13-23 straight up on the road this season, but in now or never time I'll take my chances.
