Milwaukee eased to a 115-101 home victory Tuesday night over the Lakers to improve to an NBA-best 53-18 overall and 28-6 at home. The Bucks led 61-58 at halftime before outscoring the Lakers 38-26 in the third quarter to pull away. Khris Middleton led the Bucks with 30 points on 12-of-20 shooting including 4-of-7 from 3-point range plus 2-of-2 at the free throw line. He also contributed 10 rebounds and five assists. Brook Lopez tallied 28 points, nine boards, four blocked shots, three assists and three steals. Nikola Mirotic tallied 23 points and six caroms. Eric Bledsoe added 14 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and four steals. Antetokounmpo is questionable again to play tonight with a sprained ankle.
Cavs take down Pistons
Cleveland earned a 126-119 home win Monday night over Detroit to move to 18-53 overall and 12-24 at home. The Cavaliers trailed 88-87 through three quarters before outscoring the Pistons 39-31 over the final 12 minutes. In the absence of power forward Kevin Love, Collin Sexton led the way with 27 points on 10-of-16 shooting including 5-of-6 from 3-point range plus 2-of-2 from the free throw line. He also notched two rebounds and two steals. Cedi Osman contributed 21 points, six assists and four boards. Nik Stauskas tallied 17 points, two caroms and two dimes off the bench. NBA Betting Trends
The Bucks are 4-1 ATS in their last five Wednesday games. Milwaukee is 23-8-2 ATS in its last 33 games versus the Eastern Conference.
The Cavaliers are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games. Cleveland is 1-5 ATS in its last six Wednesday games.
Cleveland has been competitive at home lately and the Bucks could still be without Antetokounmpo on a back-to-back. I think the smart play here is on the Cavs as double-digit dogs. Milwaukee can win fairly handily and still not cover the spread. Keep an eye on the status of Lose, but also keep in mind Cleveland beat Detroit without him two nights ago.
