Rockets roll past Hawks
Houston picked up a 121-105 victory Tuesday night at Atlanta to improve to 45-26 overall and 19-16 on the road. Houston led 53-47 at halftime and extended it to 94-82 by the end of the third quarter. Houston shot 40-of-78 from the floor, 19-of-47 from 3-point range plus 22-of-30 at the free throw line. James Harden paced the Rockets with 31 points on 8-of-18 shooting including 4-of-11 from 3-point range plus 11-of-12 at the charity stripe. He also accounted for 10 assists and eight rebounds. Clint Capela tallied 26 points and 11 boards. Danuel House Jr. tallied 19 points, three rebounds and two assists off the bench. Chris Paul added 13 points, 11 assists and three steals.
Grizzlies upended at Wizards
Memphis suffered a 135-128 loss Saturday at Washington to drop to 28-42 overall and 10-25 on the road. The Grizzlies were outscored 66-57 in the second half of the defeat. Memphis shot 48-of-90 from the floor, 12-of-33 from 3-point range plus 20-of-26 at the free throw line. Mike Conley Jr. led the Grizzlies with 28 points on 8-of-15 shooting including 3-of-7 from 3-point distance plus 9-of-11 at the free throw line. He also registered 11 assists and three rebounds. Jonas Valanciunas contributed 22 points plus eight rebounds and three assists. Avery Bradley had 21 points, five dimes and two caroms. Cnandler Parsons contributed 16 points, six boards and five assists off the bench. Joakim Noah added 15 points and eight rebounds as a reserve.

Houston isn’t the team anyone wants to face right now and Memphis is at the tale end of a rebuilding season. Look for Houston to secure another decisive win and cover this spread.
