Grizzlies vs. Mavericks Prediction
A pair of teams stuck at the bottom of the standings in the Western Conference will meet in Dallas on Saturday night when the Mavericks host the Memphis Grizzlies at 8:30 p.m. ET. Given the offensive struggles of the Mavs, are the Grizzlies a good bet to cover as a road dog tonight?

Our NBA Live Odds page pulls spreads and totals from multiple different online sportsbooks so you can compare betting odds to ensure you’re getting the best line.
Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Mavericks are 4.5-point favorites to beat the Grizzlies. The total, meanwhile, sits at 211.5 points and as of this writing, 78% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Mavericks to cover the point spread.
Memphis Grizzlies Fantasy Spin
Avery Bradley (right knee, right ankle) erupted for 23 points (7-of-18 FGs, 6-of-6 FGs) with seven rebounds, seven assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 38 minutes against the Bulls on Wednesday. Bradley set a new season-high with seven dimes, which also matched his career-best mark. He’s been a bit banged up of late, but that hasn’t stopped him from producing on his new team. The numbers aren’t great in non-scoring categories and he’s not the most efficient player, but Bradley will continue to see major minutes in Memphis and is worth a look in deeper leagues.
Dallas Mavericks Fantasy Spin
The Mavs beat the visiting Pacers on Wednesday, as Luka Doncic scored a game-high 26 points (9-of-16 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs) with 10 rebounds, seven assists, three 3-pointers and seven turnovers. Doncic turns 20 years old on Thursday but you wouldn’t guess his age by watching him play. He has preternatural poise and instincts, to go along with terrific size, and at least one betting site has already called the Rookie of the Year contest in his favor — it’s not even close. His overall fantasy value has been limited the past month by high turnovers (4.3), a lack of defensive stats (0.3 steals, 0.3 blocks) and poor percentages (42.4% FGs, 69.5% FTs), but he’s still right around the top-100. And of course, none of that makes him any less fun to watch.
NBA Betting Trends
Memphis
The Grizzlies are just 5-11 at the betting window in their last 16 games when facing an opponent with a losing record.
Dallas
The Mavericks are 10-4 against the number in their last 14 games when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous contest.
Prediction
Four of Memphis’ last five losses have come by six or fewer points, including a 109-107 home loss to the Bulls on Wednesday. That said, Dallas is undervalued here. Doncic is coming off a 26-point, 10-board, seven-assist performance on Wednesday in a 110-101 win over the Pacers and will be a handful for the Grizzlies tonight. Plus, Memphis has really struggled ATS in this series, posting a 1-5 record against the spread in its last six games versus the Mavs and a 1-5 ATS record in its last six trips to Dallas. I’ll lay the small number.
Saturday NBA Prediction: Dallas Mavericks -4.5
