Will Grizzlies roll tonight vs. the Kings?
Will the Grizzlies roll as a slight home favorite tonight when they host the Kings at 8:00PM ET?
The point spread in tonight’s matchup has dropped a full two points, as the Grizzlies have gone from -5.5 down to -3.5 according to oddsmamkers from online sports book Bovada.lv. As for the total, the number has stayed consistent at 214 after it opened at that same number.
Bettors favor the Grizzlies to cover the spread over the Kings tonight
Marc Gasol (season), Brandon Wright (indefinitely) and Tony Allen (indefinitely) are all out so the Grizzlies are currently banged up. But with Lance Stephenson playing better and better of late, plus Zach Randolph coming off an impressive performance in a win over the Nuggets on Sunday, Memphis has more than enough to down a struggling Sacramento team tonight. (Check out tonight’s NBA Injuries.)
The Kings have lost seven of their last 10 games and also failed to cover the spread in eight of those 10 contests. In fact, Sacramento is just 3-12 against the spread in its last 15 games overall, is 1-7 ATS in its last eight road games, and is winless at 0-8 ATS in its last eight games versus a team with a winning record. There’s no reason to back the Kings at this point, especially when bettors are only required to lay 3.5 points on a Grizzlies team that is 13-4 against the number in its last 17 home games.
