You wouldn’t know by their record but the Nets continue to play competitive basketball. In their 105-95 loss to the Clippers (a game in which Brooklyn covered as a 12-point underdog), Bojan Bogdanovic scored 19 points while adding six rebounds and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes. He’s become a fixture in Brooklyn’s starting lineup and with Wayne Ellington (concussion) out, Markel Brown is starting to make the most of his minutes as well.
The Nets are 5-0 against the spread in their last five road games versus the Lakers while the road team itself is 19-5-4 ATS in the last 28 meetings between these two teams. The Nets are also 4-0 against the number in their last four game and are 6-4 against the spread in their 10 games this season playing on no rest. At 17-10 ATS as an away underdog, they have no problem playing in the dog role either.
