Can Bulls cover at Hawks without Rose?
With Derrick Rose questionable due to a hamstring injury, can the Bulls pull off a cover as a sizable underdog versus the Hawks tonight at 8:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Hawks are 7.5-point home favorites over the Bulls after opening as a 6-point fave. As for the total, the number sits at 209 after it opened at 208. Atlanta is 4-6 both straight up and against the spread heading into tonight’s game, while Chicago is 4-6 SU and 5-5 ATS over its last 10.
Rose was limited in today’s shootaround and remains questionable, as of this writing, to play tonight against the Hawks. Even though he’s feeling better, Rose still reportedly has soreness in the hamstring so it’s unlikely he’ll play. That means E’Twaun Moore should draw another start at point guard while Tony Snell and see a boost in minutes if Rose doesn’t play.

Despite Rose being out, there’s still some value in the Bulls, who have covered in four straight games. They’re also taking on a Hawks team that is winless at 0-4 at the betting window in their last four home games and have failed to cover in five of their last six games overall.
