Blazers hot, Rockets not as teams clash
Two teams heading in drastically different directions over their last 10 games will meet tonight in Portland when the Blazers host the Rockets at 10:30PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book RealBet.eu, the Blazers are 4.5-point home favorites versus the Rockets while the over/under total currently sits at 222 points. Neither the side nor the total has moved as of this writing but you can get the latest sides and totals for every game tonight at our NBA Odds Page.
Portland is scorching hot, winners of nine of its last 10 games and is also 7-3 against the spread over that same stretch. Damian Lillard has been incredible of late, averaging 35.8 points over his last five games and scoring 34 points in Tuesday’s win over the Nets. He’s the only NBA player to score 30 or more points in five consecutive games this season and looks like a man on a mission after being snubbed for this year’s All-Star game.
Public Bettors love the Blazers to cover tonight vs. the Rockets
It’s been the exact opposite for the Rockets, who are just 3-7 in their last 10 games and 0-5 against the spread in their last five games versus the Blazers. Even when James Harden racks up 42 points like he did on Tuesday, it wasn’t enough to beat the Jazz. With Houston now in ninth place in the West, the Rockets are desperate for a victory but it’ll be tough sledding tonight in Portland.
