Charlotte Hornets DFS Spin
LaMelo Ball shot 3-of-10 from the field in Saturday’s win over the Warriors, accounting for seven points, three rebounds, seven assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes. With this being Charlotte’s first game in six days, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Ball had a tough night. In addition to the poor shooting, he was responsible for a team-worst five turnovers. But he forced a crucial jump ball in the final seconds that sparked a wild sequence, which was capped by Terry Rozier’s jumper as time expired. Of greater concern than Ball’s numbers was him tweaking his left ankle during the third quarter. After getting re-taped he was able to return to action, but fantasy managers would be well-served to keep an eye on this ahead of Monday’s game vs. the Jazz.
Utah Jazz DFS Spin
Rudy Gobert went off for 23 points, 20 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block, hitting 8-of-12 shots and 7-of-8 free throws in an easy win over the Clippers on Wednesday. This was his second 20-20 game of the season and the boards tied his season high for the big man. Gobert has double-doubled in seven of his last eight games and he’ll try to keep it going against the same Clippers on Friday night. Obviously, he looks like a great DFS play for that one after tonight’s explosion.
