Will Warriors snap ATS streak vs. Hawks?
Will the Warriors snap their current ATS losing streak when they visit the Hawks tonight at 8:00PM ET, or is Atlanta a solid play as a home underdog?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book RealBet.eu, the Hawks are a 7-point home dog versus the Warriors tonight while the over/under has climbed from 223 up to 223.5. (If you want to track line movement and compare sides and totals for all of tonight's games, check out our NBA odds page.)
Golden State is on an impressive 9-1 run over its last 10 games but that hasn't equated to wins at the betting window. The Warriors are 5-5 against the spread over those 10 games but haven't covered in five consectuive games dating back to a 116-108 win over the Thunder as a 7.5-point favorite on February 6.
As for Atlanta, the Hawks are just 4-6 against the spread over their last 10 games and are also 4-6 straight up during that same stretch. They've been a crapshoot for bettors at home this season, going 14-14 ATS at Philips Arena.
Even though this line is a tad inflated, the Warriors are due to cover. The Hawks went 9-of-41 from 3-point range in their loss Saturday to the Bucks - a game in which they were also out-rebounded by a 65-49 margin. They might play up to their competition a bit tonight but they simply don't have the shooters to keep pace with a Golden State squad that again, is due to pour it on an opponent after failing to cover in five straight games. Lay the points.
