Raptors face struggling Bulls in Chicago
The Chicago Bulls look to avoid another loss when they host the surging Toronto Raptors at 8PM ET tonight. Who do the trends support in this matchup?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Raptors walk into Chicago tonight as an established favorite, as the Raptors are getting odds of -6.5 points against the Bulls. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 201 points.
Already with the league’s worst record against the spread (20-33 ATS), Chicago is in a free fall right now with Jimmy Butler injured. The Bulls are now 27-26 on the season and in the midst of a five-game losing streak, its worst of the season. Chicago now finds itself a half-game away from being out of the playoff picture and they just traded away Kirk Hinrich.
Tonight Chicago hosts Toronto (35-17) which has won eight of its last 10 and is an impressive 17-11 on the road. Toronto is just 2-5 against the spread in its last seven overall and surprisingly has failed to cover in seven straight meetings with the Bulls, but Chicago hasn’t covered in its last five at home and is just 2-6 ATS in its last eight overall. With the Bulls a mess, don’t be too concerned about their history with Toronto. Focus on the now, not the past.
