Los Angeles Lakers DFS Spin
LeBron James took over Friday’s game, finishing a 115-105 win vs. Memphis with 28 points, nine rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 34 minutes. After three straight overtime victories, you could see LBJ willing his team to win in regulation tonight. The Lakers went on a 19-2 run spanning the third and fourth quarters, building a double-digit lead they never relinquished en route to their seventh consecutive victory. LeBron wouldn’t be denied and he scored with efficiency, making 9-of-14 free throws and 9-of-15 field goals including a tomahawk dunk off a Marc Gasol pass which you can marvel at via the link below.
Denver Nuggets DFS Spin
Nikola Jokic was one assist shy of a triple-double on Friday, scoring 22 points (9-of-16 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs) with 13 boards, nine assists, two 3-pointers, one steal and one block. Jokic didn’t get that final dime, but his team did earn their second straight victory after a three-game skid. Mike Malone recently challenged his team to focus on playing well in third quarters, saying, “This season we’ve had big leads at halftime, and the third quarter has been something that wasn’t very good to us.” His message was well-received tonight with Denver winning the second half by 15 points for a comeback 97-95 win. As for Jokic’s fantasy value, there’s nothing left to say. He’s the best in the league right now, by any measure.
