Heat vs. Kings Spread Prediction
The Rockets brought the Kings back to reality on Wednesday night, routing the host 127-101 to snap Sacramento’s three-game losing streak. Will the Kings get off the mat tonight when they host the Miami Heat at 10:00 p.m. ET as a small home favorite?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Kings are 3-point favorites to beat the Heat. The total, meanwhile, sits at 217 points and as of this writing, 80% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Kings to cover the point spread.
Miami Heat Fantasy Spin
Dwyane Wade hit 9-of-17 shots and 4-of-4 free throws for 22 points, nine rebounds, three assists and a block in a heroic performance in Portland on Tuesday, when the Heat won 118-108. This was Wade's last trip to Portland and he's now scored 21 and 22 points in each of his last two games. The Heat play again on Friday at Sacramento, and then have a back-to-back at Golden State and Denver on Sunday and Monday, and then another one at Dallas and Philly on Wednesday and Thursday. There's a chance he could be rested for two of those games, so tread carefully if you think about picking him up. Derrick Jones Jr.'s knee injuries have freed up some extra minutes for Wade, but he's a risky fantasy pickup given his age and potential to be rested.
Sacramento Kings Fantasy Spin
Marvin Bagley scored 10 points with 10 rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 27 minutes against the Rockets on Wednesday. He's coming off a career-high 24 points on Monday, but Bagley's fantasy value took a small hit today. Harrison Barnes should be a bigger threat to close over Nemanja Bjelica, so he may not be able to hit 30 minutes like he did in the previous two games. Still, Bagley's playing his best ball of his career with four straight double-doubles and he won't lose minutes if he keeps it going, so he should be owned in all leagues.
NBA Betting Trends
The Heat are 27-9-1 in their 37 road games versus a team with a home winning percentage of greater than .600.
The Kings are 13-4 against the number in their last 17 games after allowing more than 125 points in their previous game.
In my prediction for the Houston-Sacramento game on Wednesday night, I wrote that the wrong team was favored. Then the Rockets promptly made me eat those words when they destroyed the Kings as a modest 2-point favorite. Whoops. Despite that mistake, I am going back to the Sacramento well tonight. These two teams are evenly matched but the Heat are just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games versus the Kings and have dropped five of their last seven games overall. The Kings meanwhile, are 8-1 against the number in their last nine home games, with the one loss coming to the Rockets on Wednesday. More importantly, Sacramento is 6-1 against the spread in its last seven games coming off a loss. I like the Kings to rebound.
