NBA Betting Trends
Dallas
The Mavericks are 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 road games and 9-3-1 ATS in their last 13 games against Eastern Conference opponents.
Detroit
The Pistons are 5-1-1 against the spread in their last seven when playing on 1 day of rest, but just 2-6 ATS in their last eight home games against a team with a losing road record.
Prediction:
Detroit lost by just five at Dallas six days ago, pushing the 5-point spread. I think the Pistons can take tonight’s game at home. They average a few more points at home and their big presence in the paint should cause problems for a pedestrian Dallas offense. Blake Griffin has been playing well this season and comes close to willing the Pistons to more wins. Tonight, I think he takes over and pushes Detroit past the Mavs.
NBA Prediction: Detroit Pistons -2
