Bucks on fire
Milwaukee has won six straight games coming into tonight thanks to a 108-99 win over Charlotte on Friday. The Bucks have failed to cover in their last two victories. Milwaukee is 35-12 on the season, 13-8 on the road, 26-18-3 against the spread and 24-23 with the under.
The Bucks have one of the best offenses in the league, averaging 117.4 points per game while shooting 48 percent from the field. The Bucks also lead the league in rebounding at 49 per contest. Defensively, the Bucks give up just 107.4 points per game while holding opponents to a league-best 43 percent shooting. Giannis Antetokounmpo is leading the Bucks this season with 26.6 points, 12.6 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game while Khris Middleton is adding 17.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest.
Thunder finally on track
After weeks of letdowns, Oklahoma City seems to finally be on track thanks to a four-game win streak. The Thunder earned a 122-116 win over the Pelicans at home on Thursday night. They have covered the spread in three of the four wins. OKC is now 30-18 on the season, 16-7 at home, 26-22 against the spread and 25-23 with the over.
The Thunder struggled on offense early this season but have now climbed up to fifth in scoring, averaging 114.2 points per game this year. Defensively, OKC is allowing 109.2 points per game. Russell Westbrook is averaging 21.9 points, 10.8 rebounds and 10.7 assists to lead the team while Paul George is adding 26.9 points and 8.0 rebounds per contest.
NBA Betting Trends
Milwaukee
The Bucks are 4-1-1 against the spread in their last six road games and 7-2 ATS in their last nine games on 1 day of rest.
Oklahoma City
The Thunder are 6-1 against the spread in their last seven when on 2 days of rest and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a winning team.
Prediction:
The win at Philadelphia where George hit a 3-pointer in the final second seems to have really sparked something for the Thunder. OKC has looked pretty strong since then after spending weeks playing down to lesser competition. This is a big game for OKC and I think the Thunder will be up to the challenge. Milwaukee is a handful, but the Bucks still have to go on the road and I think the Thunder match up pretty well. OKC has the aggressive guards, the solid shooting from George and the inside presence of Adams to give the Greek Freak something to think about.
NBA Prediction: Oklahoma City Thunder -1.5
