NBA Betting Trends
Los Angeles
The Clippers are 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 road games and 5-1 ATS in their last six games as a road favorite.
New Orleans
The Pelicans have covered the spread in five straight home games and 10-1-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall.
Prediction:
The home team has won the first two meetings between these two and I think the Pelicans can win today as well. The Clippers are without a big piece today in George, so I don’t expect them to be able to produce their usual scoring. They also have been pretty inconsistent on the road this year, as shown by their 10-9 record. The Pelicans have been playing really well as of late, led by Ingram’s breakout performances. I like them at home as an underdog against the Clips, who seem to struggle to find motivation on the road.
NBA Prediction: New Orleans Pelicans +5.5
