Dejounte Murray stuffed the stat sheet with 19 points, nine rebounds, 12 assists, two steals, and a block in 40 minutes on Sunday. Murray has continued to play at an All-Star level game in and game out. He’s now recorded at least two steals in five straight games. Over the past nine games, he’s averaged 18 points, 10.9 assists, 8.4 rebounds, and 2.4 steals per game. He’s been providing top-10 value over the past three weeks and has been one of the top fantasy assets this season.
New York Knicks DFS Spin
Julius Randle hit just six of his 19 shots (1-of-8 triples) for 13 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, one steal and six turnovers in 37 minutes of a 24-point loss to the Celtics. We can’t imagine what coach Tom Thibodeau said to this team after a game in which they shot 36.7% from the field and 40.0% from the line, but it probably wasn’t pretty. Randle contributed his fair share to the poor field goal percentage but can’t be blamed for the free throws since he didn’t attempt one, but this was one of those occasions where it’s hard to argue against the fact that he did more bad than good for fantasy teams tonight. He was a popular pick early in drafts this year but is returning just eighth-round value, and at this point, maybe you can ship him out to a manager in you league that would be easily fooled by the plethora of counting stats and overlook the poor shooting and high turnover count.
