Thunder vs. Bucks Pick
The Oklahoma City Thunder are getting points for a change as they face the Milwaukee Bucks tonight at 7PM ET.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Bucks are the slight favorite at home in this game, as they are getting odds of -2 points against the Thunder. The over/under total is listed at 211.5 points. Oklahoma City has won three straight meetings with Milwaukee, but these two are meeting for the first time this season.
The Thunder have won five of their last six games to move to 21-13 on the season. They have also been somewhat solid with the spread, going 18-15-1. Oklahoma City is putting up 106.4 points per game this season while allowing 104.6 points per game. However, in their last two wins they held their opponents under 95 points. Russell Westbrook is averaging 30.9 points, 10.5 rebounds and 10.7 assists per game to lead the Thunder. Victor Oladipo is adding 16 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest.
Milwaukee is coming off a 116-96 win over the Bulls on Saturday to move to 16-16 on the season. They are just 3-4 against the spread in their last seven games and are now 15-17 ATS for the season. Milwaukee is putting up 105.1 points per game this season while giving up 102.6 points per contest. Giannis Antetokounmpo is leading the team with 23.8 points and 8.9 rebounds per game while Jabari Parker is adding 20.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest. The Bucks have some injury concerns as Matthew Dellavedova is questionable for this game with a hamstring injury.
The Bucks have been a little back-and-forth this season and now coming off a win. Oklahoma City has been playing well for the past two weeks and will have the best player on the floor in Westbrook. In a game that could be close, I like the team with the best player. That is OKC. I’m going with the Thunder and the points.
