NEWTON, Iowa (AP) – Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will go for his fourth straight win at Iowa Speedway in Saturday night’s U.S. Cellular 250.
He enters the race 13 points behind Nationwide Series leader Elliott Sadler and 12 behind second-place Austin Dillon.
Stenhouse said Friday that Iowa Speedway fits his driving style. He says his car seems to drive better the harder he takes it into the corners, and that strategy pays off on the seven-eighths mile track.
Sadler has three straight top-five finishes at Iowa Speedway, including a runner-up finish to Stenhouse in May.
Stenhouse is trying to become the first Nationwide driver since Kyle Busch to win four straight at the same track. Busch did it at Texas Motor Speedway between 2008-2010.
