LEBANON, TN (TheSpread) – The 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series takes center stage this week with the Sprint Cup Series off as drivers compete in the Nashville 300 on Saturday.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, Kyle Busch is the favorite to win this race with 9/5 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Carl Edwards (4/1), Joey Logano (5/1), and Brad Keselowski (5/1).
Busch has not won this event, but he has four victories in seven Nationwide starts this year. His average finish this year is 10.7.
Edwards won this race in 2007 and he has one win in seven Nationwide starts. Edwards has an average finish of 9.1 this year with five top 5’s and five top 10’s.
Logano won this race in 2009. It was one of eight career wins in his Nationwide career. Logano has three top 5’s and five top 10’s this year. He has not finished worse than 12th in any race.
Keselowski has not won this event and he has 12 wins in his Nationwide career, which spans 146 races. This year Keselwoski has five top 10’s and three top 5’s in seven races. His average finish is 13.1 this year.
