DENVER (AP) -The Colorado Rockies traded right-hander Byung-Hyun Kim to the Florida Marlins for right-handed pitcher Jorge Julio on Sunday.
Kim was 1-2 with a 10.50 ERA in three appearances for the Rockies this season before going on the disabled list with a bruised right thumb on April 16. He has made five starts at Triple-A Colorado Springs on his rehab assignment, going 1-1 with a 2.96 ERA in 24 1-3 innings.
He has a 45-52 record in 369 career major league games, including 65 starts, with Arizona, Boston and Colorado.
Julio was 0-2 with a 12.54 ERA in 10 relief appearances for the Marlins. He was on the DL from April 18-May 3 with a strained right calf.
He is 13-30 with a 4.41 ERA over 353 games, including 126 starts for Baltimore, the Mets, Arizona and Florida.
