Gleyber Torres delivered a go-ahead double in the eighth inning as the Yankees topped the Rangers 7-3 on Wednesday. Gary Sanchez later put the game away with a two-run homer. Torres also walked and scored twice tonight. He can’t seem to find his home run swing, but he has been useful while hitting .319 with four extra-base hits and six walks in his last 13 games.
Boston Red Sox DFS Notes
Kyle Schwarber homered twice, doubled, drove in four runs and scored four runs Wednesday as the Red Sox crushed the Mets 12-5. The homers came in the first two innings off Taijuan Walker. Schwarber had a brief skid during the middle of the month, but he’s driven in nine runs in his last five appearances. His .297/.431/.541 line in 32 games for Boston has made him one of this year’s best trade deadline pickups.
