Toronto Blue Jays Fantasy Spin
Freddy Galvis supplied two of Toronto’s five hits Wednesday in a loss to the Giants. Galvis got Toronto on the board in the first with an RBI double to right field. He also added a single in the sixth, though the Jays and their stagnant offense weren’t able to take advantage. The veteran infielder has raised his average 10 points from .270 to .280 over his current six-game hitting streak.
Chicago White Sox Fantasy Spin
Manny Banuelos has been diagnosed with a left shoulder strain. Banuelos is almost certainly headed for the injured list, but the White Sox will reevaluate him Wednesday before making anything official. The 28-year-old southpaw suffered the shoulder strain during his start Tuesday afternoon against the Indians. He wound up being charged with five earned runs over four innings as his season ERA ballooned to 7.26.
