Ian Anderson yielded two runs in five innings and struck out nine Friday in the Braves’ 6-2 takedown of the Marlins. Anderson tied his season high in strikeouts. Braves pitchers fanned 17 in all, with Sean Newcomb and Luke Jackson both striking out three in their innings of work. Anderson has won two of his three starts since coming off the IL at the end of last month. He’s 7-5 with a 3.61 ERA for the season.
