Boston Red Sox DFS SPIN
Masataka Yoshida went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in win over Kansas City on Sunday. All three RBI came on Yoshida’s fourth inning home run off of Zack Greinke, which traveled 415 feet and was 103 mph off the bat. The left fielder is now hitting .296/.350/.462 with 14 home runs, 66 RBI and eight steals in 120 games for Boston and has been worth every penny they spent to sign him this offseason.
Tampa Bay Rays DFS SPIN
René Pinto hit a two-run homer Sunday in the Rays’ 6-2 defeat of the Guardians. It came in one of his two at-bats before he was lifted for a pinch-hitter. That move did work out for the Rays, as Jonathan Aranda singled in his place in the seventh and Christian Bethancourt doubled in the spot in the ninth. Still, it shows that the Rays still are rather limited in their belief in Pinto, even after releasing Francisco Mejía to keep him around. Pinto is hitting .304 with two homers in 48 plate appearances while splitting time with Bethancourt.

Red Sox vs. Rays MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Give me Tampa. Bello is 2-2 with a 2.79 ERA over his last five starts (29 innings), but his 4.71 FIP is a strong indication that he hasn’t pitched as well as that 2.79 ERA would suggest. Civale, meanwhile, is 2-1 with a 3.55 ERA over his last five outings (25 1/3 innings), but a 2.67 FIP over that same span indicates he has pitched better than his ERA would suggest. Where this game will be won, however, is in the latter innings. While Tampa Bay’s bullpen owns a collective ERA of 2.59 over its last 55 2/3 innings, Boston’s bullpen ERA is 7.69 over its last 62 innings. Even if this game is close early, the Rays should strike late and post another ‘W.’
