Tampa Bay Rays DFS SPIN
ESPN’s Jeff Passan reports Wander Franco did not travel with the Rays on Sunday night for their upcoming three-game road series against the Giants. According to a team statement on Sunday evening, Major League Baseball is looking into social media posts regarding Franco, adding that the team is in “close contact” with the league as it conducts its “due diligence.” For the moment, it appears highly likely Franco will remain sidelined until the league completes its investigation.
San Francisco Giants DFS SPIN
Patrick Bailey hit a two-run homer off Will Smith in the bottom of the 10th to give the Giants 3-2 win over the Rangers on Sunday. It’s Bailey’s first homer since June 30, but he certainly made it count. Really, though, it seems like all of his homers have been big. He’s fallen off quite a bit offensively since his unexpected start, but his glove is going to make him a long-term starter, even if he never really excels with the bat.

Rays vs. Giants MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Glasnow has been lights out over the past month, posting a 3-0 record with a 1.67 ERA over his last four outings (27 innings). Over that span, he has an outstanding 10.67 strikeout rate and has a healthy 2.00 walk rate as well. He’s keeping the ball in the yard (0.67 HR/9) and his 2.53 FIP and 2.53 xFIP metrics indicate that there’s nothing fluky about his performance, either. On the other side, Walker has been used as the Giants’ opener over the past month, so keep that in mind when you read these numbers. He’s got a 0.00 ERA over his last 6 1/3 innings, with a 12.79 strikeout rate and 1.42 walk rate. Either way, I see the under 7.5 as being the best bet tonight in San Francisco.
MLB BETTING PREDICTION: RAYS/GIANTS UNDER 7.5
