Philadelphia Phillies DFS SPIN
Zack Wheeler tossed seven innings of one-run ball but it wasn’t enough as the Phillies fell to the Blue Jays Tuesday evening. Wheeler scattered three hits but was uncharacteristically wild as he walked four on the night. It was the most free passes he had allowed all season and his first game with more than two walks since April 23. He held Toronto scoreless until the sixth inning. Whit Merrifield led off the inning with an infield single before Brandon Belt walked. Merrifield would come around to score when George Springer roped a single up the middle, which knotted the game up at one run apiece. The 33-year-old righty will take a 3.63 ERA back home to Philadelphia to face the Giants on Monday.
Toronto Blue Jays DFS SPIN
Bo Bichette (knee) will begin a minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday. The 25-year-old shortstop will function as the Bisons’ designated hitter on Tuesday and will man his regular position defensively on Wednesday. If all goes well with those two games, he could then be cleared to rejoin the Jays for their weekend series against the Reds.

Phillies vs. Blue Jays MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Over his last five starts that span 29 1/3 innings, Nola is 1-2 with a 4.91 ERA. That said, his 3.75 FIP, his 10.13 strikeout rate and his 1.53 walk rate are all in healthy ranges. On the other side, Gausman is 2-1 with a 3.09 ERA over his last four starts (23 1/3 innings). His 4.13 FIP indicates that his ERA isn’t sustainable, but that’s still a solid mark. His strikeout (11.57) and walk (1.93) rates are solid, although like Nola, his HR/FB rate is a little high. Nonetheless, this is an excellent pitching matchup and thus, I’m taking the under tonight in Toronto.
