According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Pirates are -108 money line favorites versus the Rockies, who have odds of -107 to win today at home. With Ivan Nova set to face Kyle Freeland in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 12 runs.

From Rotoworld: Nova allowed 10 hits but held the Brewers to three runs over six innings in a win Tuesday. Nova was in and out of danger all night, but outside of a Travis Shaw three-run homer in the third inning he kept the Brewers off the board. He did just enough to earn the quality start, and the Bucs rewarded him with a four-run sixth inning that also got him his 10th win. Nova is 10-6 with a 3.27 ERA and 1.13 WHIP through 19 starts, with a start against the Rockies in ever-ominous Coors Field on tap for Sunday.

Freeland will return to the Rockies’ rotation on Sunday against the Pirates. Colorado had been hoping to stunt Freeland’s overall workload with a multi-week bullpen assignment, but Tyler Chatwood’s calf strain has complicated matters. Freeland holds a 3.67 ERA, 1.37 WHIP, and 69/42 K/BB ratio in 110 1/3 total innings this season for the Rockies.
