(The Spread) – Two National League teams with winning meets meet up Saturday night when the Atlanta Braves entertain the Cincinnati Reds at Turner Field.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog.com have made the Braves -155 favorites, while the Reds are +135 on the moneyline. The over/under total for this game is currently 7.5 runs. Action is slated to begin at 7:10PM EST.

Derek Lowe (3-4, 3.53 ERA) gets the ball for Atlanta, while Bronson Arroyo (3-5, 5.28 ERA) starts for Cincinnati. The Reds won the opener of the series 5-1 as Scott Rolen led the offense by going 2-for-4 with a run. Ramon Hernandez added a two-run home run.

The Reds are 27-25 overall, but have struggled as of late as they are winners of just two of their past 10 games. Atlanta is 28-24 and have won five of their past 10.

MLB Picks: Cincinnati can be a bit of a streaky team and Arroyo a very streaky pitcher. I think the Reds can continue this momentum from last night’s victory into Saturday, while Arroyo is going to sort himself out eventually and I think tonight would be a good opportunity for that to happen. According to the latest MLB trends, Lowe is 1-1 with a 4.06 ERA in five home starts this season. Arroyo is 3-2 with a 4.73 ERA in six career starts at Turner Field. I do think Joey Votto and the Reds offense to tag Lowe for some runs Saturday, while Arroyo will erase memories of his last couple outings with a quality starts. I like the value of Cincinnati at +135 and am taking them in this game.
