According to online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, the Cardinals are -127 favorites in the contest and the Brewers are listed as +117 underdogs. The over/under total for this game is currently set at 8.5 runs and the opening pitch is set for 4:15PM EST.
Getting the start for the Brewers will be the struggling Yovani Gallardo, who is 2-2 with a 6.10 earned-run average in seven starts. Opposing Gallardo is going to be Kyle Lohse, who has a 4-1 record and a 2.44 ERA in six starts.
According to the latest MLB betting trends, Lohse has a 3-6 mark and a 5.36 ERA in 16 appearances (14 starts) versus the Brewers. Gallardo has posted an 0-4 record with a 5.63 ERA in seven career starts against the Cardinals.
In other National League action, the New York Mets are home against the Los Angeles Dodgers at 7:15PM EST. The Mets are -128 favorites with an over-under of 7.5.
