Saturday MLB Opening Odds

Saturday’s baseball action gets started with the Reds and Giants, who will play Game 3 of their four-game series at 4:10PM ET. Oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog have made the Giants –160 money line favorites over the visiting Reds, who are +150 on the ML. Mike Leake will take on “The Freak,” Tim Lincecum.
Another high-profile pitcher will also take the hill on Saturday, as Cliff Lee will battle Matt Garza at 4:10PM ET. The Phillies opened as –185 money line favorites over the Cubs, who are +175 on the ML.
NL Central rivals will square off at 7:10PM ET when Zack Greinke and the Brewers host Chris Carpenter and the Cardinals. According to latest MLB trends, the under is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams and 10-3 in the last 13 meetings between these two teams in Milwaukee.
In the American League, the Yankees are –185 on the money line against the Indians, who are +173 on the ML. Of the 900-plus wagers on this game, 83% of MLB public bettors favor the Bombers –185.
