(The Spread) – There are 11 games on the MLB schedule Monday including the Los Angeles Dodgers opening a series against the Atlanta Braves at 10:00PM EST. Here is the rundown of today’s action.
Los Angeles avoided being swept by visiting St. Louis Sunday as a Matt Kemp two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth off Cardinals closer Ryan Franklin was the decider in a 2-1 final. The Dodgers and the Braves both enter this series with identical 7-9 records.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Braves -130 favorites, while the Dodgers are +120 underdogs. The over-under stands at 6.5 runs. Tim Hudson (2-1, 3.48 ERA) will start for Atlanta, while Los Angeles counters with Ted Lilly (0-2, 6.00).
According to the latest trends, Hudson is 6-2 with a 3.49 ERA in 12 career starts versus the Dodgers. Lilly is 4-1 with a 4.41 ERA in nine starts against the Braves.

The Chicago Cubs are home at Wrigley Field to begin a series with the San Diego Padres at 8:10PM EST. The Cubs are -140 favorites and the over-under is currently undecided. Over at Dodgers Stadium, Los Angeles is home against the Atlanta Braves at 10:10PM EST. Atlanta is a -130 favorite, while the over-under is 6.5.
