St. Louis has scored nearly 10 runs a game in its last four on the road, winning three of those contests. Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Dodgers -130 favorites, while the Cardinals are +120 underdogs. The over-under is set at 6.5.
In other National League action, Cliff Lee is on the mound for the Philadelphia Phillies at 7:00PM EST as they play at the Washington Nationals. According to latest MLB trends, the Nationals are 0-6 this season when scoring four runs or fewer. Lee is 2-0 in two career starts versus Washington, striking out 13 in 16 innings and posting a 2.25 ERA.
The New York Mets will host a doubleheader versus the Colorado Rockies with game one slated for a 12:10PM EST start. New York is a -130 favorite in the opener and the over-under is 8. In game two at approximately 3:30PM EST, the Rockies are -110 favorites with an over-under of 8.
Over in the American League, the New York Yankees will attempt to win a second straight game over the visiting Baltimore Orioles at 7:00PM EST. The Yankees are -175 favorites and the over-under is set at 10.5. Detroit travels to Oakland to begin a four-game series at 10:00PM EST. The Athletics are -145 favorites and the over-under is 7.5.
