New York Mets DFS Notes
Pete Alonso blasted his 34th home run of the season on Tuesday, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Mets to victory over the Red Sox. Alonso tagged right-hander Garrett Richards for his solo shot in the eighth inning, trimming the Mets deficit to 6-3. That would be as close as they would get though. He also drew a walk in the ballgame, finishing the night 1-for-3. On the season, the 26-year-old slugger is now hitting .261/.342/.514 with 34 long balls and 88 RBI.
Boston Red Sox DFS Notes
Xander Bogaerts homered and drove in four runs on Tuesday night, propelling the Red Sox to a 6-3 victory over the Mets. Bogaerts clubbed a go-ahead two-run homer off of Marcus Stroman in the fifth inning to give the Red Sox a 4-2 lead. He then extended that advantage with a two-run single in the sixth inning. He finished the night 2-for-3 plus a walk and is now hitting .303/.373/.515 with 23 homers and 79 RBI on the year.
