Seattle Mariners DFS Notes
Ty France went 3-for-6 and hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the 11th as the Mariners defeated the Rangers 9-8 on Thursday. France also had an RBI earlier in the contest. The homer off Joe Barlow was his 13th of the year and gave him 55 RBI in 474 plate appearances. He’s been a fine middle-of-the-order option for Seattle, hitting .286/.357/.443 on the year.
Houston Astros DFS Notes
Aledmys Diaz went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI as the Astros beat the Royals 6-3 in 10 innings Thursday. The Astros haven’t missed Alex Bregman as much as they thought they would, not with Diaz hitting .333/.364/.548 in 20 games since coming off the IL last month. With a potential $5 million salary looming in 2022, his final year of arbitration, he might price himself out of a utility gig with the Astros if this keeps up.
