Los Angeles Dodgers Fantasy Spin
Dodgers activated OF A.J. Pollock from the 60-day injured list. Pollock is finally ready to go after sitting out for more than two months with an infection in his right elbow that required the insertion of an antibiotic catheter line. The 31-year-old outfielder batted just .223/.287/.330 with two home runs and zero stolen bases through his first 28 games with Los Angeles, but there should be better numbers ahead with the elbow issue in his rear view
Boston Red Sox Fantasy Spin
Rafael Devers went 2-for-3 with a homer, two RBI and two runs scored on Friday in a rout of the Dodgers. Devers also doubled, and he drew a walk. He got the Red Sox on the board in the first with a solo shot off of Kenta Maeda, and it’s the 17th round-tripper of the season for the 22-year-old. The double gives him 26 on the year, and Devers is now slashing .327/.381/.559 with 64 RBI and eight steals. Calling this a breakout season for the talented third baseman is an understatement.
MLB Betting Trends
Los Angeles
The Dodgers are just 3-7 in their last 10 road games and 1-4 in their last five games coming off a loss.
Boston
The Red Sox have won five straight games and are now 41-12 in their last 53 interleague games.
Prediction:
The under is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams and has cashed in four of the last five meetings in Boston. The under is also 9-3-1 in Sale’s last 13 starts and is a perfect 6-0 in his last six outings versus an opponent with a winning record. On the other side, the under is 6-0-1 in Stripling’s last seven starts and is 16-5-3 in his last 24 outings on the road.
The Pick: Dodgers/Red Sox UNDER 9
