San Francisco Giants DFS SPIN
Luis Matos went 2-for-5 with a home run in a win over the Braves on Sunday. With Brandon Crawford being placed on the 10day IL, Luis Matos was recalled from Triple-A and announced his return in a big way with a 425-foot blast in the second inning for his second home run of the year. He would later add a 108.4 mph single in an effort that raised his slash line to .245/.309/.337 on the season. Despite his mediocre stat line, Matos is striking out less than 12 percent of the time in his 51 big league games and does not seem in over his head. However, he figures to mainly start against left-handed pitching with LaMonte Wade Jr., Michael Conforto, and Wade Meckler also in the outfield with him.
Philadelphia Phillies DFS SPIN
Jake Cave crushed a two-run homer on Sunday night, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Phillies to victory over the Nationals. Cave tagged Nationals’ closer Kyle Finnegan for his two-run blast in the ninth inning, pulling the Phillies to within a run at 4-3. That would be the extent of their comeback effort. It was also Cave’s lone hit in four at-bats on the night. For the season, the 30-year-old is hitting .252/.297/.433 with five long balls and 19 RBI in 139 plate appearances

Giants at Phillies MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Give me the under. The Giants have only allowed 64 earned runs since the start of August, which ranks 8th in baseball over that span. While the Phillies rank 12th in that category over that same time frame, they’ve only allowed five more runs than the Giants. Nola owns a 5.87 ERA over his last three starts (15 1/3 innings), but his 4.24 FIP suggests he has pitched much better than his ERA would suggest and he’ll face a struggling Giants offense tonight at home. He’ll be fine and so will Alexander in what will be a bullpen game for San Francisco.
