Los Angeles Dodgers DFS SPIN
Mookie Betts slugged a pair of home runs in the Dodgers’ exhibition finale on Tuesday night against the Angels, a 6-4 victory. Betts went straightaway to center field off Jose Quintana to lead off the bottom of the first inning and then took the veteran left-hander to right — a ball that snuck just around the right-field foul pole — with two outs in the bottom of the fourth. He finishes the spring with a .318/.423/.523 slash line in 44 at-bats. The 28-year-old is among the top betting favorites for the 2021 NL MVP Award, and rightly so.
Colorado Rockies DFS SPIN
German Marquez has been named the Rockies Opening Day starter according to manager Bud Black. This is hardly a surprise as Marquez is easily the alpha of the Rockies rotation. The 26-year-old will be followed by Antonio Senzatela, Jon Gray, and Austin Gomber in their four-game series vs the Dodgers. Marquez should once again be a valuable and volatile asset in fantasy due to his ability to eat innings but play half of his games at Coors Field. The right-hander carried a 3.75 ERA in 2020 with an impressive 3.28 FIP.
Dodgers vs. Rockies Betting Prediction
The under is 5-1-1 in the last seven meetings between these two teams at Coors Field and is 6-1-2 in the Rockies’ last nine home games. The under is also 4-1-1 in the Rockies’ last six games when they’re a home underdog and is 3-1-2 in Colorado’s last six games when playing the first game of a series.
