Los Angeles Dodgers DFS Notes
Max Scherzer will not be starting Game 6 of the NLCS against the Braves on Saturday due to arm fatigue. There are reportedly no structural issues to be concerned about for the veteran right-hander. Scherzer could still be available to start Game 7, if necessary, depending on how he feels tomorrow. The 37-year-old was quoted as saying his “arm was dead” after throwing 79 pitches over 4 1/3 innings in Game 2. It is currently unknown if Walker Buehler will pitch on short rest for the second time this postseason to take Scherzer’s spot in the rotation. If not, Los Angeles will likely turn to Tony Gonsolin or David Price in a bullpen game.
Atlanta Braves DFS Notes
Freddie Freeman swatted a two-run homer in a Game 5 loss Thursday to the Dodgers. Freeman got the Braves to an excellent start when he clobbered a two-run shot off of Joe Kelly in the first inning to give Atlanta a 2-0 lead. It would be the last runs Atlanta would score, as the Dodgers dominated from that point on. It was the second homer of the series for Freeman, and he’ll still have a chance to put the Braves into their first World Series since 1999 on Saturday in Game 6.

The Dodgers are winless in their last four games in Atlanta and are 7-16 in their last 23 League Championship road games. On the other side, the Braves are 6-0 in their last six home games, are 4-0 in their last four playoff games and are 6-0 in their last six games when their opponent allowed two runs or less in its previous contest.
